Jaisalmer–Jodhpur
A story worth living.
Five days and four different nights — a Jodhpur hotel, a Jaisalmer hotel, Sam Desert Camp and a night in the open desert on beds under the sky — with the forts, havelis, Gadisar Lake, Kuldhara, Tanot and Longewala along the way.

The road to
remember when.
DAY 01Begin with a little royalty.
Arrive in Jodhpur and check in at your hotel, subject to the hotel’s check-in time. Explore Mehrangarh Fort and its museums, visit the marble cenotaph of Jaswant Thada, and discover the royal collection at Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum. Stroll around Sardar Market and the Clock Tower. Explore the Blue City lanes, browse local handicrafts or enjoy the evening at leisure.

After breakfast, visit Mandore Gardens and explore any remaining Blue City lanes and markets. Leave around 12–1 PM. Visit Jaisalmer War Memorial on the way into the Golden City. Travel time depends on road conditions and sightseeing stops. Check in at your Jaisalmer hotel, then enjoy the evening views at Gadisar Lake. Return for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

After breakfast, enjoy your included boat ride at Gadisar Lake. Explore Jaisalmer Fort and Patwon Ki Haveli. Salim Singh and Nathmal Ki Haveli are additional city highlights, time permitting. Visit Kuldhara en route to Sam and check in at the desert camp. Enjoy the desert sunset. Camel safari and jeep safari are included; timings are coordinated across your Sam stay. Enjoy a vegetarian dinner with Rajasthani folk music, cultural dance and a bonfire evening at the camp.
STAY / Sam Desert CampDAY 04The sky is your ceiling.
Wake up to the dunes and have breakfast. Enjoy your included camel safari and jeep safari, as scheduled, before the day’s excursion. Visit Tanot Mata Temple and the historic Longewala battlefield and memorial. Local village / last-cafe stops are subject to the route and access. Border-area visits remain subject to permissions and local conditions. Return to the dunes for dinner, music and a bonfire. Sleep in the open air: beds and bedding are provided, with no tent roof above you.
